All-Time Favorite Games

Don’t know if any one still posts here BUT, Hunt:Showdown for PC is one of my favorite games ever. Gritty, perma-death. It’ll definitely kick your ass.

Dragon Age.

I'm currently playing Octopath Traveler 2. Huge fan of RPG and JRPGs like the Atelier series, all of the Final Fantasy series, Bravely Default, Ni no Kuni, Breath of Fire and other turn based games. I play Otome games too. Used to love Pokemon, but the newest game isn't so fun for me, and I've definitely outgrown it. Also play casual games like Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing, Story of Seasons, The Sims (all.)

Super Mario Bros 3 is one of the greatest of all time. Also loved Sonic 2 on the Genesis.

Uncharted 2 can't be overlooked.

Knights of the old Republic are some of my favourites but also enjoyed the mass effect series

The Quest For Glory games still hold up today. The last game was released in the late nineties and if any game gets a reboot please can it be this franchise.

I am also in a long term and frankly unhealthy relationship with League of Legends which has to top the list for me because though I hate this game, I've played it the most.

That's the same for my husband and friends. It's quick and easy for them to get in a game together, although it's the most rage inducing. I stopped playing it entirely some years back because it wasn't fun anymore with who we were playing with. We had one "friend" who spent far too much money on skins, then get perma-banned for toxicity while playing ranked. Another smashed his keyboard 😑 And when some are in a bad mood, they keep banning other team member's picks to be irritating.

Honestly I'm just glad this doesn't only happen in my discord server. Banning another team member's pick is a little funny, I need to remember it next time I play a normal.

I agree with quite a few of yours. Final Fantasy 6 was great, but FF4 is what really got me into the series. I thought the story was better and the characters were more likable. Arkham City is also among my favorite games.

The 2 best post 2915 games that I loved were the Witcher 3 and the ps4 Spider-Man. I can't wait till the second one.

My all time favorite was Zelda 3: a link to the past. My list would be:

I used to play Mariokart with my brother, But the game I really liked was Civilisation.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is a ton of fun, but the story and writing was really lackluster. I fired up Dragon Age Origins because I was interested if I had rose colored glasses about how wonderful it was.

I did not, I would give up it the nod as best RPG ever made.

Currently trying to decide who to woo and take as my husband/wife in Coral Island. I backed it on Kickstarter and I've had some fun playing it during alpha, but latest update broke my save. I've racked up almost 100 hours on it so far.

I'd prefer card games like poker and some oldschool games/ Also mobile gaming is funny in a case of slots and crush games, the best for me is a Ganesha gold, top of the tops - https://ganeshagoldonline.com.br/ !

There were a few PC games I used to play, but Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 was my all-time favourite. Later, versions just didn't cut it for me.

I haven't played a video game in years and my player is some ancient Nintendo. I've played Halo, probably the original version with others. Meh.

Years ago I was a master of the arcade game "Defender" which was a relatively early version of what video/computer games can do now. Reportedly the game was also used by the US air force to train pilots. I loved it and keep thinking i should buy the arcade machine.

I bought a multi-pak of games once that included "Asteroids" with infinitely superior graphics to the original. As a bonus the original Asteroids, a vastly inferior program was included. I nearly always played the old version. Mostly, if a game lets me blow stuff up I like it.

I'm on Persona 5 atm.

Any Star Citizen fans? I backed the Cutless Black some years back but it's only got the 6 month insurance 😒 Bought the current cheapy ship with the lifetime insurance so I can melt down my original then upgrade the new lifetime insurance ship back to the cutless. But now I've seen the Prospector and Vulture so I'm thinking I need another cheapy life-time ship to upgrade to one of those too 😳

For me, it’s a tie between Witcher 3, Bloodborne, and, surprisingly, CS: GO. The other night, I randomly went down a rabbit hole and found this list of the most expensive CS: GO skins ever sold. Anyone else playing Hytale? Got a server going with my friends and it's been fun - Swimming across shark infested waters, jump scares from magma rhino toads, general undead and fleeing angry bears. We've been playing modded minecraft for years so enjoying the newness. Showing so much potential already and the developers seem committed. Lots of small touches I've never seen before like communicating with the modder community, finding out what could be incorporated into the game to enable ideas. I think it will be great once they get into RPG elements to make it stand out against Minecraft. Anyway, I'm now completely distracted from writing but my hyperfixations usually only last a few weeks so I'll be back to it eventually 😅
