I see that this has been brought up earlier as well, But I dont understand why the mods have not even bothered to reply to this, leave apart any action regarding the same.

More likely to be noticed there. I'm betting that no one from the chat mod team noticed this before and they do watch those forums more closely.

The best option is to create your own room, with assigned room monitors (room owner is assigned and can assign their own in their absence) and your own set of rules. Lush has tried the dedicated room thing before, like an image room which prove to be the most popular but no one used it, so it was removed. Another thing, if one was created for what ever genre, there's nothing to stop people coming in and harassing other members. There's no idiot filter, yet in your own room, you'd be able to boot these pests. And I suggest blocking anyone who does harass you.

Yes, good idea. I have had a few times on the men's room when guys have been really rude and insulting and it was quite upsetting. I wish some of the bullies would look at your profile to see what type of person you are then they won't be rude.
