I am somewhat of a thrill seeker. I would much rather fly in a powered ultralight, go indoor skydiving, scuba dive, etc., than put on some panties or other lingerie. However, those flying, skydiving, etc., are expensive. The cheapest thrill is wearing a Speedo and swimming. I usually go right after the largely female (and largely my age) water aerobics class is finishing up. Also, making things awkward with someone I've known for years doesn't make me happy.

For a lot of men they feel ashamed because society tells them they can't express any femininity ever or they're not a man. Masculinity for them is very rigid and very fragile at the same time and they enforce this relentlessly. I think more men need to be brave and just say fuck it and doll up for a weekend. Any man whose heart ever fluttered looking at satin panties or a taffeta skirt should get to wear them.

I agree with you, I'd have no problem if my boyfriend wanted to dress up. It would actually be fun! I wouldn't think he was any less of a man either. It would just prove he was his own man not just some drone following what society expects of him.

Thrift stores are wonderful for cross dressers because typically they see a lot of cross dressers shop at them particularly in larger cities. I can feel how nervous you were! I worked at a thrift as I mentioned earlier and always loved helping girls like you. You should be able to try and buy anything your heart desires. Yes, they're just clothes but I know for crossdressers they're like "forbidden feminine fabrics" and that makes the shopping experience different. It can be thrilling or aggravating that first time. We as a society should be less judgmental of men expressing their feminine side.
