Have you ever fell in love with an heterosexual? Why or why not? How serious was it?

How did you cope with the situation? Did you profess your love nonetheless to see if the feelings were reciprocated? Or did you keep it secret and tried to move on?

That was actually my intention when asking the question: to see if sexual orientation was a deterrent big enough to prevent falling in love with someone.

I mean technically, an homosexual could still find someone attractive, sexy, intelligent, caring, etc., even if that other person was an heterosexual, and sometimes to a degree that wouldn't be all that far from 'love'.

Just like some men fall in love with married women or inaccessible ones (eg. living miles away, age difference, etc.). In some cases, love 'just happens', they don't ask themselves "what would be the point?".

But I understand your perspective, thanks for sharing it.
