About two years ago, there was a TV ad for a skin medication that featured a guy in his forties wearing a red Speedo. At first, his wife is puzzled, but by the end of the ad, she accepts that her husband likes to wear a Speedo even in public. That ad geometrically increased my curiosity. I bought a Speedo, albeit blue.
The first time I did so at my gym's pool, my heart raced, but once in the water, I felt more athletic, more manly.
However, walking around the pool, back to the locker room, and elsewhere had the opposite effect. I felt like I had a bikini bottom on, which a Speedo basically is.
After the swim, and sunning myself (in front of others). I felt very alive, not turned on exactly, but with a heightened state os awareness.
I regularly swim in a Speedo now. I like the feel athletic. However, I also enjoy walking around with a "bikini" on.
