Ads Blocking Use of Desktop View

Please help.

I like to use Lush on the Desktop version, and I understand the need for adverts to keep the site going.

However, on the front page, the adverts are either blocking the button to click for Desktop, or, when the covering ad is removed, no matter how I zoom in or rotate my Shiny, the stupid big ad behind that little navigational bar insists on pretending I clicked that. But I didn't! And it's driving me bonkers.

I'm sure "Kim" is very nice, but I'm not into hot moms or fucking them.

I just want to view the front page in Desktop on my Shiny, not be forced to the mobile version, which I find very unhelpful, sorry.

I can view the forums easily in Desktop, but not the front page. Is there anyway to fix this so I can enjoy the front page as it's meant to be, please?

It happens when I'm logged out, which is how I prefer to browse Lush. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note. Thank you for any help, or better, a fix.

Agreed, it's very annoying

Even worse, it occasionally chucks up a javascript alert message to tell me a virus has been detected on my phone and that I should click OK. I know ad revenue is very important for Lush but do we need to sink to this level?

Kim said the same thing to me. I suspect she's fishing for anyone who might bite. That must be one boring husband she is sleeping next to.

I've added a link to the desktop version in the pull out menu (top left icon). Does this help your shinny?

I love you, Gav.

I tried to look, and clicked the funny little three-line link, and something has automatically downloaded. I haven't opened it, though. The browser also opened a new screen, which was a copy of the same screen.

My Shiny is working well, though.

That doesn't look good at all - fxy3lady.apk is, unsurprisingly, malware http://www.avgthreatlabs.com/android-app-reports/app/fxy3lady.apk/

In Chrome on iOS clicking anywhere on the homepage opens up another browser window but also a scare-ware alert from alert-sa.com saying that a virus has supposedly been downloaded. Closing Chrome fully gets rid of this alert (I'm certainly not clicking OK on the alert). After that the site performs normally.

Does this mean I have Malware on my Shiny?!

I deleted the thingy without opening it last night. If the people who made that crap spent more time on here learning about sex, they might actually get some, instead of being complete bastards. I don't know what to do. Not about the sex, I mean. The malware.

I'm no expert on Android devices but as you deleted it before installation then you should be fine.

Given the amount of "hot moms" they appear to have who are gagging for a shagging, I'm surprised they can find the time or energy to write malicious software

No, your shiny is fine. I get this all the time on my Nexus 10 tablet - you actually have to click on the downloaded file and install it in order to release the gremlins.

Android also by default prevents the installation of apps from 'Unknown Sources'. This is a security feature which you would have had to manually disable in order to install that malware app.
Thank you. I ran my Avast, and it says it's all clear.

You could use ad blockers or get the silver membership to get rid of all the ads.

I got gold to do exactly that.

Everything else is a bonus.

Membership perks don't help when you're logged out.

I thought that was obvious.
