Cant Open Youtube videos

Hi. I seem to have some problems viewing Youtube clips on profiles. The problem appears to be confined to my PC. When clicking on a Youtube video on a profile I often get a response "Video unavailable".
Strangely i dont appear to have a problem when viewing on my Ipad. they all open ok.
Any Ideas?

Which operating system and browser are you using on your PC please?

I am using windows 10 and Firefox as my preferred browser although i do have chrome installed
I also have Norton security installed and windows defender turned off

Thanks. Could you try accessing the videos from Chrome assuming that you were using Firefox when that failed on your PC.

Furthermore are you up to date on Windows 10? There have been a few large updates to Windows 10 in the past few months and certainly a very large one about 4 days ago... perhaps you could check for updates. Also undertake the usual housekeeping on your PC... temporary files/cookies/thumbnails etc. etc. Its surprising just how many issues that housekeeping resolves.

Check for browser updates too please... FireFox and Chrome.

i logged on with chrome rather that Firefox and and can now open all YouTube videos that were previously blocked. I will look at my Firefox settings but i suspect I will stick with chrome.
I am pretty good with housekeeping.
