So after half hour free time I came up with this more to my liking. I just need to adjust the css for the scroll bars and brighten up some of the fonts. Then chrome will override with this template of Dark mode.
For the last few years, I've done R & D work for UI "User interface" for Security Camera Systems and Point of Sale cash register systems.Dabbled in web design PHP, MariaDB, and UI scripting.
I am personally not a fan of dark modes. Not sure why, but my eyes just don't take well to them. But I am a bit surprised that this site's dark mode is still stuck in beta and doesn't apply to the chat (I assume, given you went to this trouble). Almost everything has a dark mode anymore, even things you wouldn't think would need it.
A strange little something for Halloween.
Iv'e never understood the need for a dark mode feature... turn the lights off or on as required... sorted.
