Here is an AI picture that I generated today. I uploaded the picture into my Private album, then opened the picture in a new tab to see the URL to the picture. I saved the URL string, then deleted the picture from my private album. Notice that the picture is still visible, using the url.
It will be interesting to see if, over time, the picture is actually deleted from servers, and the link below no longer works.
There are lots of different levels of caching etc involved, for all the various parts of the site, and that is as technical as I'm ever going to get. We need to be able to retain stuff on the servers in line with GDPR and for follow up reports to law enforcement etc.
If you delete your account, all data is purged after a set time.
I'll just reiterate basic internet safety for everyone. Between downloading and screenshots, if you don't want something on the internet, don't put it on the internet.

I see now that this is the return from the picture's url.
Instead of a 404, or file not found, it says 'Denied'.
