Featured Media only showing from Public Album

Like most views/comments. Could it include all Albums? Or is it an issue relating to Private Albums.

Please elaborate.

On my profile page, I can edit and select certain media and stories. Under media, I can select most views, comments, etc. But most views/comments only display from my Public Album and not from all my Albums as a whole. I suspect it's to not accidentally include a Private Album, but it would be nice if it worked as I had initially presumed.

It has to be Public images. Anything set in private are kept private until otherwise.

Thank you for your responses. I'm not clear.

Even when all my albums except one are public, only 'Public Album' is included on my Profile Page when selecting a preferred media priority such as 'Most Viewed'. I have more views for other media in different Albums, but they are not shown on my Profile Page.

If you want to add those images to your Featured Media, you can move them to your Public album. Take note, there is a limit of images that you can feature.

What is "Featured Media" and how is it set? Is it a Profile display feature? I've never heard of it.

It is a set of images from your Public album that you can select to display on your profile. To set it, go to your profile, click on Edit Profile, and look for FEATURED MEDIA.

Upon viewing your profile, that is the set of black and white photos displayed before your featured stories.

Thank you. I would never have found it. If it had "Select" it might be useful, instead of being simply arbitrary.

Thanks, but selecting specific media makes the point of selecting a most liked picture obsolete. So, there is no fix?

You're welcome. At the moment, that is the only option. If you think it is broken and needs fixing, you can create a support ticket or submit it as a site development suggestion.
