Featured Story feature

There is an option to feature three of your stories at the top of your story list. Currently, I have three pages of stories. However, the third page of my story does not show on the drop-down menu. It ends at the last story on the second page. It this a restriction or is it a 'bug?' (I'm trying to move my second published story up to the top of my stories on my profile. It has nearly 29,000 reads, and I would like for it to reach 'Famous Story' status, and I believe more visibility will help it achieve that landmark.)

If you mean when you edit the featured set and select Specific Story, the drop-down is a search box. Well, sort of. It doesn't seem to search by title very well (not sure why) but if you try words you know are in the story you want to feature, you might get lucky and have it show up in the list for you to select.

The search is a little vague.

Thank you so much WannabeWordSmith. I thought you had to use the drop-down menu which didn't allow me to access all of my stories. I was able to move some stories to the top of my profile to increase their visibility by typing the title in. Thank you again.

I'm glad I saw this discussion! I didn't realize the drop-down was a search box and thought it was odd that it displayed only my 30 most recent stories. 😆
