I reported this issue some time ago, but never heard back. Several friends have wanted to add comments, but there is no form shown. Other friends see the form and have left comments. I have the general setting ticked for anyone can comment, as well as the one in my Album settings. Have I not done something right?

I am afraid I don't understand. I have always had the Friends Can option checked. Some friends do see the comment box under an album/gallery image, but others do not. Could it be some setting on their own profile?
If I deselect the Friends Can, then anyone is allowed to comment or no one?
If the input section is there, then it works fine. For others, all they see is what has been posted by others, but the input box is grayed out. This is what I also see, if I look at images on a non-friend's gallery. I haven't checked to see how many people it happens to, but a couple have said they tried and couldn't leave a comment. Maybe I should try re-friending them.

No. One didn't notice their 3 month had expired. The other was solved after Curvygalore friended me. My apologies for not following up on the thread.
