When you click on the link and go to the story, it is automatically removed from your reading queue. No delete button is necessary.

This works unless the story is in the category, and was added to the queue before stories in that category were removed.
Interesting bug. I'd perhaps use the Contract Us link to make the pertinent people aware (Gav).
