How to unfollow?

My profile shows I am following certain writers. How did I end up following them and how do I STOP following? Or does it matter?

Hiya, if you're in the tab on your profile that shows you who you are following, just click the three dots to the right of their name and click unfollow.

You can follow an author from their page, or from a story that they write, so you might have clicked it by accident. If you follow someone, you will be notified when they post a story and it will automatically be added to your reading queue.
