loading youtube videos onto a friend's wall

whenever I try to load a youtube video onto a friend's wall - no success.

in the forum - no problem, but for some reason, on anyone's profile page - no can do.

for their wall, I upload the youube video just the same as I do for forums:
on the youtube page, I click on share,
then embed,
then I copy embedded link,
then I go to friend's wall, click on the red you tube thingy,
a small field pops up that you paste the embedded link into, press ok
the embedded youtube link then appears inside comment box, ready to be sent,
I click on "post comment" - nothing.

Posting a Youtube video in a forum post requires the embed link of the video.

Posting a Youtube video on a friend's wall simply requires the URL of the video.

I took that link and the Copy URL option etc. and it worked to my profile .. twice. I assume you have tried a few times since it could have been a hiccup?

Did you also type a message along with the post? If you did, that may be why it just posted as a link.

I find that when I post videos on friends' walls, if I want to add text, it has to be below the video link, not above...or the link itself will post instead of the video.
