In the last couple of days I have been unable to log in with chrome. i complete the log in, name and password, the screen refreshes and goes to my profile but I am not logged in and cannot access the site.
I am using chrome browser Version 72.0.3626.109 (Official Build) (64-bit)
and using windows 10
I can however log in with Firefox without a problem.

I also have exactly that software configuration without any problems. Two suggestions:
1. Perform some housekeeping to include the usual temporary files, cookies, thumbnails etc. and perhaps even a free up disk space (system files and non-system files)
2. Try the login again from your profile page (as described by you).
