The maximum allowable size of an image you can post on the wall of a member is 1MB. Whenever I try to post a larger image, it is not allowed.

However, I have had images posted on my wall that have been substantially larger than 1MB. But if I copy the image and try to post it to someone elses wall, it is not allowed. WHY? Am I missing something here? Thanks in advance for you help with this

The maximum size for uploading an image is 1mb. There is no maximum size for embedding an image smile

The 1mb+ images displayed on your page are embedded (the URL link pasted into the comment box) - that way it is you taking the bandwidth hit by downloading it, not the site. When it is displayed on your computer, is it being downloaded from the source website.

If you upload an image, the Lush servers are having to store it.
