Media Albums

I've been out of the loop for a while when it comes to site functionality, but for the life of me, I can't seem to work out how to:

• Delete an existing profile album

• View/Amend the list of users able to view an existing private album

Would one of you lovely people point me in the right direction, s'il vous plaît?

Media management here is shonky at best.

The three-dots menu on each regular album in the swipe list should house a Delete option, and you can Make Private, which should remove everyone,. (Uhh, "should")

But I've no idea whether there's per-user controls for viewership or if you just share the link to the album and that automatically grants viewership. People have "invited" me to view albums before but I can't see the button or link to do that anywhere in my profile. Baffling.

Hopefully someone else (like AvidlyCurious who is knowledgeable in this arena) will be able to answer the sharing aspect of your question.

So good to see you around!

To delete the album, as WW said, you go to your profile and click on the three dots (upper right). There you can Edit, Delete or Make Private.

If you make it Private, no one can see the contents (except for the album cover, if you had selected one) unless you Invite them.

To manage your invites, click on the private album you want, and the second grey box you see should be Invites. Click there, and you'll see a box to Invite User. Type the name of the member (case sensitive) and ta-daaaaa. You can select for how long you want to share (day, week, month, year, permanent).

The member will receive a message with your invitation.

If you want to uninvite anyone, just click on the red cross.

The albums you have been invited to should be visible from your profile. Click on Media and the first row should be Received Invites.

Ahhh, I don't have any private albums with content in them, which is why I didn't see the option to share them with anyone. Nice, thanks for clearing that up ❤️

Yeah I have those, I just couldn't see how to share mine with anyone. See above post.

Only one of my albums has those three dots and it's not the one I was looking to delete - not sure why.

Re: the users able to see the private albums - I think when the site migrated to Lush 2.0 a few years ago, these lists got wiped out. That would explain why none of my private albums list anybody. I'll have to re-invite them and see what happens.

Yeah, some of them are "system" albums that you can't alter, so you have to either ignore them or empty their images if you don't want to use them.

Most of those have been passed to developers a long while ago and are, presumably, on the list.

Unfortunately, we don't know if they'll be approved as feature requests, nor do we have timescales for implementation.
