The message icon (envelope) shows a 1, indicating I have a new unread message. But when I click it, there are no new messages. Anyone else having this issue?

I still have the issue with the notifications bell not clearing completely until I refresh (and that's on both phone and PC) but I've never had issues with messages.

Yeah, the notifications may be off sometimes (Lush has many state issues), but this one seems new. To me at least.

User deleted message so you see the notification but there's nothing to read.

Could be. It's a bug.

The ticket I filed seems gone, but nothing has changed.

I did reply to your ticket. There is a Mark All As Read option. Please use that if you find a discrepancy.

The ticket, as well as your reply where nowhere to be found.

I know there's a Mark All As Read option, but that only fixes the symptom at best, not the bug.

Maybe there's a message for me that doesn't show up, maybe Impurethoughts is right that someone sent me a message and then deleted it, but the flag was not removed or maybe there's a false flag set by something unrelated. If it's one of the latter two then the bug might be fixed already, with only the symptom remaining, but if it's the first one then it clearly is not fixed yet.

You mean to tell us that you didn't receive admin message through your email associated w/ said lush account? Cause you get reply sent to email and then you can see reply under closed ticket section(I don't see previous closed ticket though)

I got email notification of pm but none was to be read. If you allow Lush access to notification, at the bottom, you'll see who has sent message--through Samsung Internet Browser.

Its kinda like the -1 friend request. Lush is haunting the settings section. Cute.

In saying this, I don't have any issues w/ pms.

I rarely check that email account. We have a message box here, so I would expect messages from Lush to appear there. I would also expect closed tickets to be available in the closed tickets section of the ticketing system here. But for some reason they're not. Seems counter intuitive to me. Oh well.

Check email account if you want to know John's response to your ticket, noll.

I havent responded to your latest support ticket on this since I am waiting for a response to my enquiry to the development team. I hope to have that today.

The phantom message is a regular occurrence, but clicking 'Mark All As Read' makes everything hunky dory.

But it shouldn't be. A programmer should be able to figure out. Computers are dumb hunks of metal and silicon that can't sneeze without a line of code telling them to do so. So if there is a problem causing a false flag, then a programmer should be able to find the code that's causing it and write a patch. Throwing your hands up and saying that it's a mystery doesn't wash in IT.

The real question is, why can't I have my umlauts?!!!!

I'm joking.

I love you, SimplyJohn ❤️

Calm down, dear. We know you work with 'dumb hunks of metal', you tell us often enough.

I meant it was a mystery to me. But not one that keeps me awake at night.
