I’m well aware of bookmarks. My comments are only partly about the inconvenience of it. They are about the oddness of the choice. As someone that works in IT around the web development space, I’ve never come across a website that uses its mobile platform as an alternate site from the primary one. Ever. It creates confusion like what’s been noted in this thread. So it’s not a standard choice, which makes me curious as to why that decision was made.
What’s the benefit for having two separate sites dependent upon device type and making users jump through hoops to get where they want to go when they are on the other kind of device?
Most (all) mobile sites are about a mobile-optimized experience of a website, not a separate database for the mobile site. Does somebody actually have mobile friends and desktop friends? Maybe we should have chrome friends and safari friends too... ( because you can manage redirects and build site optimizations off of specific browsers as well)
The last sentence is sarcasm.

PS - I’m just being direct in these comments. I’m not up in arms and will continue working as I have been. Just airing thoughts because that’s what you do in Internet forums, right?

When I find myself on the mobile site, I scroll down and choose desktop as well. But I'm getting friend requests from the mobile site, which I do not want to deal with....can I be removed from there and only use the desktop version? Thanks!

I haven't seen anything about this site...is it a Lush clone or is Lush expanding into the international market please?

As of today, my browsers refuse to go to the mobile site.
Chrome puts up a warning message, "your connection is not private" and "attackers may be trying to steal your info" etc...
With duckduckgo the browser just hangs and won't go there.
Anyone else noticed this? Is there a security issue?

The problem is known and we are waiting for a solution which I understand to be a renewal of the security certification.

Agreed to the core. I strongly believe that the both need yo be consistent and for feedback/opinion poll can be created for users if some custom features can be added to the site at large, rather than having a separate thingy for either.
Personally I'd love to have a mobile site or even an app that provides the full fledged experience of the site I've thankfully enjoyed since almost 2013.
Gav and Nicola, Please have a look.
Thank you
