I submitted my first story about 10 days ago which is currently under review. I understand they take a while to approve.
I tried to upload another story just now but it doesn’t seem to have worked.
Do I need to wait until the first story is approved before submitting additional ones?
Yes, please only submit one at time. The queue is very busy most days with over a hundred submissions awaiting review.
We're trying to get through them as fast as possible, but sometimes processing times vary, depending on how long stories are and how much work or feedback they require.
As you can appreciate, the volunteer mods balance what they do here with their family time. Sometimes we get a bunch of 10k stories land at once and each takes a good half hour or more to read. Other days we have a glut of Flash pieces and can whip through them comparatively quickly.
