I noticed when I go on my friends page (Green_Man) it says his page is not secure. All my other friends have secure connections.

Do you happen to know why this is happening?

Thanks, Mysteria. I have not found any other site that tells me it is Not Secure. I have tried logging off and back on. I have made sure to use https to start the URL. It is odd.
Well, I tried turning my browser off and back on. That seems to have solved this little problem. So, never mind, near friends.
Okay, that is freaking weird (highly technical IT term). Mysteria's profile and mine are okay, but Larry's comes up as "Not Secure". Yet they are all on the same site so should be under the same certificate. Probably a question for Gav. I suspect there may be an image on Larry's page that is not hosted on Lush and it is the source of the problem but that's just based on the message Edge gives me when I click on "Not Secure" to check the certificate and other security info.

But if your browser session would make your profile page secure or not for other users then that would be a serious security issue

Btw, I get no such warning in the Brave browser, but I noticed it doesn't display this one image that is served over HTTP instead of HTTPS. Edge does show the image, but also gives the warning. It's the book cover for "Paisajes De La Lujuria (Spanish Edition)".

Edit: you can use the image source of this image posted here, as it's now served over HTTPS through Lush's image proxy. The source is:

As daffy...er...noll said, you resetting your browser would not affect the rest of us. it's still showing not secure for me (and I am on a different computer now).

I suspect noll's explanation is correct. The image being served over http is exactly what the error message in Edge on my computer is describing.

WHich would be me. Chrome would be the same since Edge uses the Chromium engine. Interesting how Brave handles it. It is what I would expect from a "secure" browser. Must get around to checking it out someday.

Well, I just deleted the eBook so maybe that will resolve this problem.

Yep, Edge no longer complains.

Maybe he's a Russian spy.

Clicking the lock symbol in the address bar of most web browsers will give you a list of the objects on a page, usually images, which are being loaded over an unsecured (http) rather than a secured (https) connection. Nothing to worry about.

Unless he starts speaking Russian...
The entire site is HTTPS and secure.

Yeah, I think we finally determined it was a specific messed up link on Larry's page that caused it.
