I used to have a spot for little blog posts. I could write a blurb and post a picture, talk about a hot video, preview or promote a story or whatever. So far, I can’t find that feature any more. Am I scrolling right past it?
I also can’t seem to find where to add NEW media. Suggestions?
Hit 'Statuses' in the toolbar below your cover image to create what passes for a blog here, though you won't be able to see it.
For new media, hit your avatar pic in the red tool bar at the top and hit add media in the dropdown.

Nor will it show up on the Activity page unless you are one of the lucky few. Your friends and/or followers may get a notice of it or may not. Until you get a comment or like, there is no way for you to find it. Honestly, at this stage of development, it isn't worth bothering with.

At the moment, if you post it directly from your profile, it won't save.
A small hiccup but it's being looked at.
ONE. I liked being able to blog here because I had a built-in sexy audience. No one was offended when I said, "He told her to take her panties off and go kneel in the corner."
TWO. I liked the simplicity of posting here. Quick. Easy. No fuss.
THREE. I liked it that all my status updated showed on one page, and I could then point my author domain name to that page. Now, I'll have to start back on my Wordpress blog, which I clearly don't like a much. That takes me, and maybe a few fans, away from Lush. So, I'm hoping the Techo Mages will bring it back, along with links and tabs that take readers right to my inner most thoughts and feelings. :-)
Okay, so. Here's the way I do my status updates, and they save no bother:
Update your status (formerly blog):
Click 'Activity' - there will be a glowing/pulsing read dot to the right of this.
As soon as you're there - the status update is immediately in front of you - type away and this should save and go to your friends no bother.
Make sure this is set to post to friends and followers - this is in the red drop down box on the bottom right of the status box.
To add new media:
Go to your media page.
Click in to the album you want the media to be part of
At the top right, below your banner, you'll see an "Add media" tab. Click that and add the media you are looking for.
So long as you don't choose to make the media private, you'll be able to post it to your status.
I've added a screenshot for example.
