Whenever I copy and paste an article from another webpage into a forum post, the paragraph breaks always disappear. I have to go in an hit enter at the end of every paragraph so it will be easier to read. Am I doing something wrong? Apologies if this has been asked before.
When the debate is lost, slander becomes the tool of the loser. Socrates It depends on how the site you're copying from, have constructed their pages.
If you copy a few paragraphs from wikipedia to here for example, they copy over as they should.
Other sites I've tried, because they use CSS or some other "modern" page formatting method, the paragraph breaks can sometimes disappear.
The forum software uses what is essentially a flat file format, like notepad, so no html will get carried over. There's nothing we can do about that I'm afraid.
Usually I'm copying from or Huff Post or something like that. Thanks for explanation.

Just a note...never had a problem with paragraph breaks in the forum...it is a constant problem with submissions though...just corrected a couple over on the blue site tonight...
