Photos in title headers on stories?

I see so many stories and poems that have customized, attractive headers for the title part of the page, often with a photo or other image as a part of it. How is that done? The instructions may be posted here somewhere and I've just missed it, but I did look!

I even had a friend try to explain it to me, because she does it, but I can't seem to make it work - and yes, I am technologically impaired!

Thanks for the help, much appreciated, and once again for this great site!
Hi Stormdog,

Hope these instructions help!

1.

Choose the cover image you want and upload it to your image gallery. You can choose to "Hide From Gallery" if you don't want the cover on display on your profile in your actual image gallery. This basically just makes it invisible to viewers, but it's still uploaded for your own personal use.

You can either create a full 'story poster' with your own title and author name, customized as you prefer, or you can just upload the photo you want and Lush will automatically add the header with your name/title over a shaded bar at the top of your cover photo.

Reminder: You have to upload the photo/cover before hitting 'Submit Story'.

2.

When you go to 'Submit Story', you'll see the standard submission template.

Just above where you'd paste the body of your story, you'll see the following:

Cover Image and beneath it a scrollbar of all your uploaded images from your profile.

Click on the cover/photo you want to appear, so that it's highlighted in a blue frame (such as I've done with the pink cover photo in my screenshot, below).

If you've done your own customized addition of title/author name, you can click on the box that says: "Hide Title and Author From Cover Image". If it's just a plain photo, leave this box unchecked and the system will add it for you with a basic shaded title bar at the top of your photo automatically.

Hi Stormdog,

Thanks! You really are a doll - and you've made those instructions so thorough that perhaps even a semi-Luddite like me can follow them. I'll give it a try on my next one and find out.

Thanks again!
