Over the last couple of weeks I have had a number of messages sent to me and a lot of photos. However photos prior to 3 days ago have all disappeared, messages too. Is there a limit to the number of items that Messages can hold ? Or what has happened . Also I know how to star messages, but not the photos. Any advice ?

Thank you for reply, but the photos were very intimate, and I don't think it woud be right to share that with anyone else, even an admin. So perhaps I had best just leave it. Thanks.
Hiya, it could be that the photos have been moved or deleted by the person who sent them, and it has deleted them from your mail. Might be worth checking with them to rule that out or not?
Thanks Jen. Yes perhaps I should ask her that. Really though I was wondering whether the inbox on Messages has a maximum capacity or something. Or whether there was a way to save them, like the way you can star texts. In other words how to prevent it happening again.

Each message, and that includes a media item, can be starred so that it will not be subject to automatic deletion after 2 months. No maximum capacity that I am aware of.
Thanks, I will go back and make sure they are all starred. Still a bit puzzled why a whole load were deleted after just a couple of weeks. Oh well, perhaps she will re-send them.
