Sometimes when posting a pic on a friends wall all i see is an Icon see attached

Thanks
That happens when either the site couldn't load the image from wherever it is hosted or you have entered an invalid link.

If you can provide an example I could check this for you.
The same thing happens with blog post images sometimes. Not sure about linking directly to an image's url, as I've never tried that; but if you were trying to post an image saved to your device, I have figured this out: It means the image has been saved with a "name" that contains one of those weird, forbidden special characters. That screws everything up and prevents the image from posting. Rename your image on your device to a title containing no special characters. Now it should post fine.
This sometimes happens to me when downloading image from my device.
When that happens, I upload image to my blog, copy image URL then post again on wall.
Always make sure that the URL you are making a copy to paste some where else has a picture file format und it will work with any HTML und most VRML.
Sometimes you think you are on the root picture page, but you are NOT.
Check this by simply right clicking the pic und choose "View Image".
This will take you to the original, root server picture page.
Copy that link und ya gute to paste it any where ya want to any website...it ist just that simple.
The picture/gif URL must have a picture file format...mpeg, jpg, jpeg, bmp, gif, etc. at the end of the URL.
If it doesn't? Right click und choose "View Image".
When it takes you to that page, then highlight that URL und copy it.

Not sure if this ist your problem, but I'm thinking yes...hope this can help ya...smile

I already posted this before wanting to talk to you personally...sorry bout that...smile
