Suddenly no pics

Initially I can only suggest you clear down your temporary files etc using the delete browsing history via Internet Options to see if that helps.

FWIW, I've never used anything but Chrome (incognito) and I've never had any display problems.
(Windows 7 SP1, Chrome Version 37.0.2062.103 m, on a very powerful PC)
