Website issues

Can not reply to anyone. When selecting reply it logs you out. Unable to like anything as well. Nothing happenes when you select like. It does not record your input.

Me too. I reported it as a “bug”.

Forum? Group posts? IM? ...?

Edit: Ah, just tried it on a Group Post and got the same thing. Seems it's confined to that area of the site.

Forum and Groups. I haven’t tried IM. At first i could “like” a post and it would register and add to the “like” count. Now that isn;t working either. I get a red box around the “like” and then nothing happens - it doesn’t register the “like” or add to the counter.

The forum seems to be working, since you can post replies 😁

I was just going to reply that I was wrong about Forum posts. It didn’t hit me until I’d started eating breakfast that I was able to reply to you.

Should now be resolved.

It’s still not working for me. When I try to “reply” to a “reply,” I get kicked out. I’ve tried it with Chrome, Safari and DuckDuckGo. The browser doesn’t matter; the results are the same - booted out.

I’m not happy about the problem, but I’m glad to know it’s not just me.

Weird. It was definitely working earlier cos there have been group wall post replies. Maybe another regression somehow. I'll nudge the dev team in the morning.

Any idea when this might get resolved. It’s a PIA having to log back in when simply clicking on “reply” to a reply.

No ETA, sadly. I flagged it to the dev team again this morning.

Weirdly, some people seem able to post replies just fine. You seem to be one of the unlucky ones. Me, well, I'm halfway between the two. When I tap in the Reply box, the login window tries to pop up but never completes. It just spins forever. If I then go Back a page, I'm still logged in, but ultimately have no way to leave a comment reply.

Bizarre.

It is not an initial "Reply" to a post that is causing the boots. There's no problem doing that. It is replying to an existing reply. Every time "POOF" and you are gone.

Exactly the case.

I can reply to groups posts.
I can't reply to replies in group posts. Kicks me out.

I can reply to wall posts.
I can reply to replies in wall posts.

Was going to edit my Forum tagline but Forum settings not working? Got a ‘This is embarrassing’ page. Will try again later.

I reported the (Log out) bug, and support has closed the ticket, but I'm still having the same problem when I try to reply to comments on my group posts? 🤷‍♂️

There has been no resolution to the problem that I can see. I suspect it has to do with the recent denial of posting privileges involving banned groupies. It started hand-in-hand with that "fix," but was inadvertently applied to all group members.

It applies to everyone in our group. No one is able to reply to an existing reply without it logging us out.

Some members are also being presented with the upgrade page. There seems to be a few variations in the result. I have updated the development team.

Thanks, John. this is incredibly annoying.

It seems those of us that have a lifetime platinum get a spinning icon. Upgrades to a higher tier doesn't exist for us.

It appears the site is trying to solicit members to upgrade.

That is not the case. It is simply one of a few symptoms of the problem.
