People who think their stories are the greatest thing ever, but could not write their way out of a wet paper bag. You know? The ones that have a little disclaimer at the beginning of each story to say that they are a "published" author and beg you to "please, please be sure to vote" . Ugh! So far this week, just about everything and everyone has pissed me off! I was on vacation last week with my girlfriend, something I NEVER get to do. Hell, I never get two days off from work in a row. It was a great week, but it ended.The drive home pissed me off: Construction zone on the interstate. Not a workman in sight on a rainy Sunday night, but 6 miles of one-lane road. Stupid assholes who couldn't merge if you offered them $1,000,000. One hour and twenty minutes to go 6 miles. Aggressive drivers. And finally, fog as thick as whipped cream. The 6 hour drive took 9 hours, with shitty radio stations the whole damn way.
Going back to work. Dozens of meaningless memos from the elite corporate Committee for Useless Ideas. Incompetent, lazy co-workers who expend more effort on trying to place blame than on working. Stupid, argumentative customers.
Thunderstorms in the middle of the night. Lousy sleep.
Did I mention I'm normally a very happy, fun-to-be-around person?
