Yes I know most of the time people are posting their birthdays but I thought I'd try something a little different.
The Equinox is a special time of year, when the chill of winter gives way to the warmth of spring.
Oh Goddess thank You for the gift of this new season, when light returns to our skies once again.
When the sap rises in the plants around us and many creatures heed the increased warmth by breeding again.
Teach us to feel the power of Life flowing through our veins, relight the fires of our hearts that we may walk with joyful steps. Remind us to reach out to each other, to sing Your name with Love as Your children. That Life renews its power, that which slumbered through the winter now returns full of vigour.
Teach us that Love should be our watchword, our guiding principle and Your greatest gift to us. Let us sing our thanks for Your many gifts and dance with joy at this time of renewal.
Shine Your Light upon Your children Goddess, for we are fragile mortal beings and need Your Light and Love.
Teach us that if we embrace each other as kin, stand as one people, sing in ever tongue of Your Wonder, that we can remake this world into the paradise it could become.
All things were, are, and ever will be according to Your Will oh Goddess. Blessed ever be.
Thank You Luna for the gift of Your wondrous Light on the 28th. That we can start our new season with the beacon of Your Hope in the night sky. Let us never be truly alone if we have Your light above us in the skies. Be ever with us radiant Luna, grant us Hope in our darkest moments, be our truest friend when we are alone, dance with us in our joyful moments.
That You are always with us, in that celestial compact. May Your daughters be ever with us, to teach us that Hope is a Cardinal Virtue and should always be celebrated.
As You wax and wane, remind us that all things move in cycles and that there is always Hope. That the Light returns, that Life will endure, that together we are far stronger then we imagine.
Shine on my beautiful Guide, keep me ever on my Path, grant us Your Light to resist the lure of the Dark and return once again to the Light.
