I know I'm right that my posts have nothing to do with the punishments I've received when another poster who acts far worse remains active while I continue to get "reply notification" E-mails from the site while I am "suspended" & therefore unable to post in the same threads I am notified about.

Also, don't get on my case about one missing letter when your posts are repeatedly lacking in punctuation.

And yes, these posts may be off-topic, but so was the Staffer's post I was responding to.

Yes, I pick on others for typos, but not usually on a writing-based site or in posts with typos.

I'm sorry, Mr. Nuder (hope you don't mind my calling you that), but I absolutely must insist upon the swearing-in ceremony.

Well with an actual fiction book being looked over right now by a significant publishing company...I answer this question with another....what time is it now?.

I have no interest in online popularity....I have an interest how many will buy my book, to some extent...but then again if I go no further than the advance I can lie back and say I had a book published at least.

One tip. REAL publishers want one thing....STORY....if your story is strong enough they don't give a damn about punctuation, spelling and other such banality....if the story is ballsy. They want it.

No doubt I'll be derided for this, but there it is.

P.s. Why am I here if I'm such a big expert?. Simple, an idea stolen is still an idea. Ask any REAL writer.

no publication worth their name is going to publish a story with incorrect punctuation, spelling, and "other such banality" - they will either assign you an editor and edit the crap out of it, or make you do it yourself.

also, as a reader, i can assure you that, if i pick up a book, no matter how intriguing the story is, the mistakes will distract me enough to the point of putting it down and never picking it up again. it's not only sloppy, but it's lazy, and it's insulting to me as a reader.
