Lush Limericks

I think the beat is essential to the Limerick. You can extemporize on this, to a limited degree, but I think the basic rhythm is:

Though I can get lazy with my limerick meters if I can get a good joke out of it. Sometimes I miss the joke and just go for seduction.... or my mind wanders. So my examples are not exceptional. We all just have fun here though.

My limerick was just there to say,

That sex was expressed already.

So I stripped bare,
