It was once healthy, but now it's sick.
It worked hard, to give and be what you wanted.
But what you wanted became bigger than the life we had.
Your addiction took you where my heart couldn't follow.
My heart tried to talk to past your addiction, but your addiction wouldn't let your heart hear my pleads.
But now, your addiction is taking a rest, as your days of recovery grow.
And I'm going to miss you, because you don't want me anymore.
Thus, my heart has to go.
