I like vacation sex because its a chance to be outside my normal environment and be a total hedonist without fear of repercussion.
Often if I'm away somewhere warm, close to naked most of the time in a bikini, drinking all day and all night, looking at other tanned, hot guys.. chances are I'm going to have sex on my mind quite a bit.
I also think women (especially) feel like vacation is a license to really let go and lose their inhibitions. Often women are so afraid of being judged for being sexually aggressive or adventurous that they operate with far more restrictions when they are at home. But on vacation, everyone is encouraged to let loose and party it up.
As well, because you're never going to see these people again, it releases the inhibitions. You can get super kinky, and super wild, and who cares because you're never going to have to worry you're going to run into them every weekend at the same bars you frequent or have to deal with awkward break up conversations or the potential aftermath of a typical one-night stand in your home city.
There is nothing better than hot sun, strong margaritas, a warm breeze, and sweaty sex.

I love vacation sex. It takes the pressure off "what happens next". And I hate to say it but girls do tend to be sluttier on vacation. There is something to be said about that whole "Girls Gone Wild" thing. Amen!

Girls get away from home, from those that know them to act a certain way, away from their jobs, away from responsibility...and they let loose. No, not every single one, but the generalization is certainly true. If you've ever been 18-24 and gone to Cancun, or South Padre, or any other spring break or summer break beach destination- there's more willing pussy to be had than you can really fathom. You can't go and be a moron and get laid, but thinking back: I would've had to be a moron not too! Girls drink, they dance, they scan for guys, and they want to party, so sex is going to happen.
Even now, a little bit older, I make it to Las Vegas often, Cabo every so often, and last year to Hawaii, and the same things happen. Girls on vacation want to party and they unzip just a little faster away from home. What's the difference between those places and clubs here in LA like Aura and Dragonfly? The ladies here are in their element, you have to play games with them on their turf a little bit more. They are rooted in their own lives, and they think about things like: How will I get to work tomorrow from your house? -or- should I really be cheating on my boyfriend like this? What if his friend shows up?
On vacation? Anything, usually including the clothing, goes.

Seems I do remember those family vacations, when the girls were small and it was hard to find a place for wild and adventurous sex.
But now that they are away at college, I grant myself at least one vacation a year to somewhere that my nude body will not be an objectionable, or if I must wear a bikini, you know the one that covers almost nothing.
You know the place that is warm year around and there are many other nude or nearly nude bodies around the resort. It seems to me that most in this environment are announcing their availablity for sexual adventure and certainly a single woman.
This may not fit everyone, but it also seems to me that many women, feel the restriction of church, PTA/PTO and work to limit their real desire for adventure in the sexual way. But when on vacation it is felt that the shackles of inhibition may discarded.
