If I ever bit off more than I could chew, it was this story.
Written as a homage to a spell in rural France, my favourite porn star, a French girlfriend and partially true events from a bygone age - it's pushed my thinking to the limits. It's given me writer's block, I had to walk away from it for a year and perform major surgery on chapters to get a good linear storyline.
There's lots of sex, but this is also meant to be a story, a coming of age.
I'm not one for promotion really, I write just because. However, with this one, I'm thrilled I got it tamed and under control.
