It's not often that I do this, however, I've just finished what is probably about 70,000 words and a true story. It starts in 1996, I was 24 and all hormones and little else. I took a transfer to our Paris office for a year and covers the next 23 years of my life and the orbit of a Parisian woman in it. When I turned up here in 2013 (where does the time go), my moniker is a consequence of this story.
Anyone that has attempted to write something 'true' knows this is very difficult. I admit I had to stop for several months as it was really hard, and threw up some painful memories. As the story ends, you will find out why.
Let's just say, I've always been a little adventurous and tried not to fall in love too easily. A lot of it had to do with the circles I preferred to move in, which is the whole point of the story: hedonism or romance, never both.
It is based on true events because it stretches over twenty years. All the major milestones in it are true. However, names are changed, some places are named, others are not. There are composite scenes for brevity. I really tried not to sensationalise it, all these things happened. Please give me a little leeway on the dialogue, it points to the direction of travel, it is not all verbatim, some of it is especially towards the end.
So, if you want to read what is pretty much a novel. It starts here, all linked to help you get through it.

Special thanks to CurvyGalore for her continual support and great words of encouragement, especially when I pretty much disappeared for six months whilst writing this. Also to ChrisM towards the end for correcting my French and his words of encouragement that got me over the line.
