Hey,
I'm new to Lush and just posted a poem for the contest. If be immensely appreciative if anyone wanted to visit https://and either rate the it as horrible, middling, or moderately ok. smile Thanks!
btw, welcome to Lush

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

Welcome. I read it and you did a great job!
Voted and enjoyed. Nice way to introduce yourself to Lush, Zoey.
Read it earlier and was very impressed! This definitely deserves to be a contender.
What a sophisticated poem! I loved the piece. Great job! Welcome to Lush!
It's lovely to have a new member jumping right in with a competition entry. Nice one, and welcome! smile

Zoey_X, we hardly knew you...
Drive-by poetry. Beat drive-by trolling, I guess. biggrin
Shame she left so quickly! Scared away by all the attention, maybe.

I'm curious about how some of Zoey_x's situation looks.

(I'm not prying about the member herself, but just more about the optics of what may be going on, as I'm curious).

Her initial forum post here has reverted to "guest," which suggests account deletion. As does the fact that the comment she wrote on my contest entry is gone. My timeline notification about her comment is still there, but her avatar is blank, (although the blank avatar has the gold badge on it still).

Her poem is likewise gone. So far, all signs point to account deletion.

However, I have a link to her profile from that timeline notification, and when I click on it, her profile is still there (although her story is gone).

Again, I'm not asking about her, but since most signs seem to point to her having deleted her account, isn't it odd that her profile still can be accessed? Or is that something that will disappear as certain batched processes go through?
Sometimes you just lose the will to keep on keeping on...

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

...They just wear you down over time...

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

...until it gets easier to just move on.

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

I think account deletions are scheduled for an overnight run, so yeah, links may still work for a few hours. X
