About the author:

I am a smoking hot, twenty-six year old lesbian from Orange County California...shit...wait...that is my Tinder bio...

Edit: Lush Bio - Even though my catalog lists over 40 offerings, I consider myself relatively new to the writing circuit. Most of the 40+ are experiments in poetry and as in any experiment, there are massive failures before you find any success. I have tried to push the ones I'm most proud of to the front of my profile page so you do not have to sift through the explosions.

I placed in the top ten (seventh place) in the Pride comp with my entry, Woven.

I have a 3 part flash series called Willie Mac, about two badass chicks set in the wild west (two chapters received Recommended Reads).

My latest is a noir-"ish", not-so-typical, love story, Born From Fire. I am hoping that it will be the launch of a few installments.

What's it about, you ask? It's about 7,000 words.

Seriously, Born From Fire follows a henchman named Jones who is sent to retrieve his boss' infatuation, Raine. Jones and Raine are cast into a situation where they are forced to decide, fight or flight?

It has some suspense, some scorching hot sex, and one or two twists. I hope you find 12 minutes to read Born From Fire and please please please let me know what you think. I am not above offering favors in exchange for comments.

Woven was on of my fav stories that was entered, fyi. i enjoyed your lush bio, but really, it's your tinder bio that caught my eye. the smoking hot part lesbian part. have to admit, the orange county part throws me off a little, having grown up in the Bay Area... still... anyway, anyone staying with me here should read Woven. It's a great freaking story.

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

Yes, that Tinder bio got me too.

Woven well deserved its place in the Pride comp.

If you are not going to promise to deliver favours yourself I'm not going to promise to write my own comment.

Looks like we're in for a nasty spell of wether.

Woven was one of my faves in the comp too! Really ingeniously (sp?) structured, and well written. I'm looking forward to reading Born From Fire. Sounds very noir-y (I'm pretty sure that's not a real word).

It sounds like a real word to me. ;) It does a very noir-y feel to it. You can see it as you read it and you won't be disappointed.

Now I know Tams didn't put this, but I will push it for her. Scintillation is a must-read as well.

Nightshade Part 1 & Nightshade: Part 2

One year ago today, I published one of my first stories, The Gift. Having little to no writing experience, it has obvious weaknesses but I am still very proud with how it turned out.

The Gift follows a young woman named Cara on her quest to make sense of erotic, but somewhat troubling dreams. The dreams rattle her and a series of subtle coincidences layer on top to push her to the point of needing answers. What is her gift? And more importantly, who wants to take it from her?

Will the answers satisfy Cara’s need to find them? Find out in The Gift.

In the next couple of days I will be publishing a follow-up to that story. It is called The Gifted. It is written as a stand-alone but it will have more impact if you’ve read The Gift. I hope you enjoy and as always please leave me your thoughts in the comments section.

P.S. There will be a third installment called The Taking...

I have posted Part Two to my story The Gifted. It is my 50th published work on Lush and I am very proud with how it turned out. The story is split into two works (so far) The Gift and The Gifted (pats 1 & 2).

The Gift tells the tale of a young woman named Cara who has been experiencing odd, erotic, somewhat troubling dreams. She searches for answers and encounters a woman named Gail Hathaway who may be more than she seems on the surface.

The Gifted - Part One follows Cara's roommate and best friend, Amber. Amber has a vision and sets on a thrilling adventure to try and find Cara. Along her journey, she meets Cain who provides her with answers while also raising more questions.

The Gifted - Part Two takes Amber and Cain on a quest to find Cara, and unfold the story behind Gail Hathaway and the gifted one she seeks to fulfill her reign.

I hope you will take some time to read them and leave me feedback.
I would like to introduce my series, Tales from the Hollow.

These stories will be on the darker side with twists and turns along the way and not-so-happily-ever-after endings.

My first installment is titled Fauna, a story of a fairy, set in a fantasy world of medieval times. Fauna is the leader of a faerie army forced to defend their land against the humans.

The story tells her tale of being captured and using her wit and magic to not only free herself, but gain a knowledgeable edge in the war. I have woven in my spin on the fairytale Sleeping Beauty (with sexy bits). smile

The second installment thus far is titled Still Waters. It is a (wait for it...) tentacle story!

Valerie Lundquist is a determined young woman who sets out on a solo sailing trip to prove her worth, and possibly prove her estranged father wrong. Along the way, she encounters the challenge of sailing through the doldrums and meets what she thinks to be a friend.

It was a challenge to write a story with little-to-no dialogue, not much in the way of scenery, and a one-sided sex scene. I hope you like the finished product and will let me know your thoughts. (I personally think the sex scene came out pretty damn hot )
