Copying pics from Tumblr to Chat

Why am I unable to post from Tumblr directly, or indirectly to a Chat room ?

I've saved the pic's to my hard drive and tried to drag and drop. That doesn't work.

I've right and left clicked and tried to drag and drop. That doesn't work.

I have been able to copy/paste the url address into Chat but the url address is what shows on the chat window, not the pic.

I'm tired of just lurking and would like to be able to comtribute more than my witty repartee, lol.

You need to copy the Image URL..not the page URL..then paste that directly into the chat window and hit enter..
