This is why I hate the media. Without googling, can anybody say what the G8 promised $20B in aid to Africa for? Or how much of an increase that was from previous unkept promises?

Essentially yes, although only 5bn of it was new money. The rest is from the reaffirmation and reallocation of old promises. But I bet that far more of the people on here know about the BS ass-glancing than the long-term agri-capacity building.
