One of my favorite things is celebrating someone on here who i think is just totally awesome. Today, the person is Verbal. Why? he doesn't suck.
no, seriously, though, Verbal's been around a bit. He's well liked, he doesn't cause me massive migraines every time he posts, he's a wonderful writer and a staple of the community, especially at Rumple's bar and honky tonk. He's supportive and helpful and honestly, just a lovely man to be around. Some of the other awardees i've known for a long while - while i've known Mr V, i'm really just getting to KNOW him and really, he's made of marshmallows and hot chocolate and he has a habit of making me smile whenever i see him about, which isn't always an easy feat!
anyways, it tickles me pink to be able to add a brand new badge to Kaiju-boy's page. Thank you for being part of my Lush experience, Mr V. You are, officially, awesome! *hugs*

I'm not that social here, I don't do a lot of black boxing or chatting or putting up pix and inspirational stuff on walls. I tend to be kind of guarded. And my stories are hot but weird and I tend to drone on about the multiverse and robots and non-linear storytelling and Cthulhu and bad Japanese monster movies, and I'm more comfortable being the odd guy in the corner than the center of attention. So all the fuss is appreciated, and warms my heart.
I've watched Verbal become awesome since he first arrived. We both joined around the same time, and became friends. He shared the pain and then the loss he was suffering back then, and I always wished I knew what to say to be a more helpful friend. He's a father to daughters, and I'm one of four daughters, so I know what a family of all daughters is like. In three years he's blossomed into one of the best writers on Lush, and is truly a likeable guy!
