Ban thread or Section

I would like to see a BAN THREAD or section in the forums.

I don't mean a thread to name and shame or a place to say good riddance.

I am simply talking about having a standard list of reasons for a member to be banned and once a member is banned it is put in the ban thread. Maybe a sticky thread where no members could reply?

That way it would put a stop to false rumours going around and simply to let members know what happened to their now sudden missing friend.

And maybe take it one step further and have a goodbye thread where members could at least say goodbye to a banned member without being judged or it turning into a bitch fest. One rule. If you don't have anything nice to say about that member then you are not allowed to post.

Members do not get warnings prior to banning or are able to defend themselves if banned or even time to say goodbye and why they are gone. I think this will allow for members to say goodbye themselves.
I don't think it's anyone's business why someone gets banned. It's between the owner and the person, not the rest of the people on here. If they've made such good friends then they will have e-mail addresses.
And yes, members are usually warned about their behavior before hand. If they choose to keep it up, then they are no longer welcome. I would think that how you act here would be common sense. But this is just my opinion.
I know two members who were banned with NO warning at all. And one member, doesn't even know for sure why he was banned.
I don't like to air dirty laundry in public.

I have banned less than a dozen people in 3 years, that hardly warrants its own thread. They were mostly trolls, persistent spammers, people who submitted stories with banned content repeatedly (and they were usually given at least one warning), or troublemakers.

A few nuisances on site can ruin the experience for hundreds of people - those nuisances are unwelcome here for obvious reasons.

If you need someone's email address, send me a PM and I'll see what I can do.
I second what Chef said. It's no one's damned business why someone was banned. This is Nic's site. If and when she ban's someone it is for a reason. Im sorry to say it Neo, but this site does not revolve around Trinity and why she was banned. I think I speak for everyone when I say this, but lets leave the whole Trinity issue behind. I, for one am tired of hearing her name.

I concur!
I can't say I can agree with you on this one Neo...I believe the vast majority of people who get banned would know what they did wrong, or at least have some idea...publicizing that someone did something "wrong" regarding site rules, does not benefit anyone...

Are you kidding? Not have a bitch fest! Almost every post I've read had a bitch fest attached to it, seriously are you kidding me?
The way I feel is when a member is banned they had done something to break the rules that are set up to make this site an enjoyable escape from reality. It is 100% their fault and they are the ones that needs to take responsibility for their actions. They had been warned or talked to and continued to act a certain way.
When somebody is banned why do I care? Why waste the time and the post to gossip about why that individual is gone. Hello...adding fuel to the fire if you ask me, but guess nobody did but there is my 2 cents do with it what you want.
No one can make you jealous, angry, vengeful, or greedy -unless you let him.

Absolutely correct.
