Suggestion 1 - more avatars, those ones are a little sucky

If your cursor disappears, click on the big Send button, and it should come back. I had that problem earlier in IE8.

The stories side of the site will still show ads. We need to pay the hosting bill somehow.

I don't like ads in forums, and have never had them here. The chat feels like an extension to the forums, and I don't like them in there either.

I tried sending a newsletter last month to all our members, the email broadcast provider said 3 people out of 9000+ had hit unsubscribe, and they refused to send the rest. These dumb spam laws are getting ridiculous.
