How does the blocked list work?

If someone is on my blocked list, does that prevent him from contacting me? For instance if he (the perv, in this instance) tries to send me another instant chat message, will it refuse and let him know he's blocked? Can he even see when I am logged in?

the blocked list! Some people don't get that the bit in my profile where it states:"However, is not one of my interests, either to read or talk about it. So if you want to chat about it, please ask someone else." means, "look, idiot, go somewhere else!" beat_deadhorse

One attempt at sending me a chat request with in it is ignored, the second one is blocked. Simple, innit? Besides then I also won't have to see his hairy dick avatar pop up on my computer screen. laughing9

If you block them you will not get another instant message from them. I don't think they will know they have been blocked....They just wont be able to get ahold of you. As far as knowing if you are online...Im not sure.

once they are blocked, they cannot contact you, or see you on the story section of the site.

they will be unaware they have been blocked, at least that's the intent!
