It's also great to get the complete set of updates - it's a time-saver to be able to see it all in one condensed summary list that pertains only to you.
Thanks, Gav!

I would like to express my appreciation to all who reprimanded me for not caring for this feature. It is good to know that expressing one's honest opinion will be jumped on and attacked. It is a good lesson to learn. Thank you. I won't bother to express my opinion again. It is certainly not greeted with the honesty of agreeing to disagree. No I do not receive email notifications of everything you list Pixie, but I do get them on my profile page, which I go to anyway every time I log on. But again, sorry to rain on everyone's parade by having a differing opinion. It definitely won't happen again.

Glad you like the new feature. I'll be adding more to this over time.
I've added an option on your settings page to choose an alternate landing page for once you login.
Happiness is restored \o/
You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

it is very nice but I don't get to see it.. I never log out, I use chrome and it saves my Password so I don't have to remember it.

For me it marks an interesting paradigm shift from writing community towards social network. Great if you have a good-sized network of people who are regularly involving themselves in the site, maybe not so great if you're just someone who talks in the chatrooms and read a few stories.
The showing of forum replies is a very helpful addition, does it extends to all mentions on the forum or just quotes?
A couple of things I've spotted:
1. A very minor point, it's not really "what you've missed" - it keeps stuff up from the last time you checked
2. If you delete something someone posted on your profile, it still turns up in your timeline

I don't know how possible it is, but would you prefer a "delete from timeline" option? Or, you could get lots of people to quote you and stuff, and then you wouldn't see that they'd posted on your wall after you'd deleted it, because it would get pushed down. Maybe?![]()

Love to see when you're quoted in a forum! Fabulous!

You should learn to be more decisive.

Another thing I've spotted...
If you post on someone's profile and change your mind and delete it, that original post still appears on her "what you've missed" even though it's deleted off her wall.
Bug or feature?
