It tells me at the top of the page here in the Forum that I'm Logged in as: gypsymoth. I'm not sure if it used to do that.

It doesn't say that anymore on the front page or my profile page, though.

The site has been freezing on me for days. The only way I can get out is to control alt delete. I get constant error messages, in the forums, chat and everywhere else.

Sounds more likely a problem with your computer Pixie. Do you get any error messages? Java often causes my home pc to do funny things.

Have you run any anti virus or malware programs recently?

This is the only site I have been having the issues with. I have talked to Gav about the error messages I have been getting. Hopefully he can help me figure it out. (Crosses fingers)

Despite what people think, breaking the Chat window was not one of my new features.

I have cleaned out the tubes, and made the page footprint ~10% smaller, so page loading should be snapier.

Also shrunk images on peoples profile pages where its too wide for the page, thanks tommie!

I was having the same problems as pixie especially since the weekend... Could not upload even a small picture without getting error messages... And when I did manage to upload one, my hidden pictures became unhidden.

Also had problems with the system being slow and freezing and errors.

Will see how things are today and let you know if they are fixed.

Gav will post later when he knows for sure when it will happen, but it seems we are having server issues with either the hardware or the software, it is unclear which at this stage.

To narrow it down, they are going to do a thorough disk check first, which may take us offline for half a day, worst case scenario. If it isn't the hardware, then there's some bugs for Gav to squish.

It's an I/O problem apparently. Ironic, a site like Lush having in / out problems

In and out solutions are my specialty, Nic. For a roundtrip ticket, car and just $275/hour...I can be onsite and assist Gav as his hardware gopher to snuff out this little problem.

I can even fly economy for Lush! It can be my birfday present to ya. I just need the server logon & passwords.
