First things first. I want to thank all of you, every single one of you, for any story submissions you've made or plan to make to our fantastic community. Lush Stories is first and foremost an erotic stories website. We would be nothing without our authors. We very much appreciate you sharing your work with us.

That being said, I'd like to bring up the issue of multiple story submissions. We have noticed quite a few authors submitting two or more stories at once. While we can appreciate the temptation to submit a five part series all at once, or to submit two or three separate stories in order to populate a new profile, we are requesting that you curb your enthusiasm and submit one story at a time.

Please wait for that one story to be either verified or returned with comments before submitting another. Why are we asking this? There's actually a few reasons.

One: Lush stories will post one story per author every twenty-four (24) hours. That means that even if all of the stories you submit are approved one after the other, your second story will not show up on the front page until the first has been there for 24 hours. If it was multiple stories, then the fifth story, for example, will not show up for 120 hours. We do this precisely to keep authors from hijacking the front page with multiple stories.

Two: If you submit a series in full and we have to send back the first part, we will also send back the rest of the series in order to keep it from being posted out of order. Help us post your stories in the proper order by waiting for one part to verify before submitting the next part.

Three: When you submit more than one story at a time, you are essentially jumping the queue. We frown on this behavior. We want all authors to have a fair placement in the verifying queue. Fair warning, if you persist in submitting more than one story at a time, we may manually push your second story back by simply ignoring it for a while.

Four: Submitting multiple stories at once unnecessarily inflates the verifying queue. Right now, the queue is sitting around 65. Not all of those are individual authors. However, we (the moderators) only see one story per author at a time in the queue. It is most annoying when we deal with a story or three, only to have the queue increase by one or two.

This message wouldn't be complete without a plug for our Gold membership. While Gold members don't get to skirt around the multiple story guideline, they DO get their stories handled much faster than either Bronze or Silver members. Faster handling means subsequent stories are also handled sooner. smile

In closing, be kind to your fellow authors as well as your volunteer story moderators. Submit only one story at a time, please.

Thank you so much for reading, and have a sexy day. Happy writing!

I'd like to add this... respecting the one story a day rule is just courtesy. Besides... if a multi-part story is good, the readers will be chomping at the bit for the next part. Happily... we've got some great writers who can write great multi-part stories.
