I've just published a new version of lush, now we have:

- poke a member. people who are familiar with facebook will know the drill, happy poking glasses8

- add images and youtube videos into your friends comments
- stories no longer hit the home page without verification by a moderator
- various other bug fixes

any problems, come and find me hiding

All of my already published stories have a little disclaimer now saying that they have been sent to a moderator for verification. Even ones that have been there for months. Is this a glitch of some sort? dontknow

Hey gav any chance of adding some kind of tone to the poke feature? I had a friend poke me and didn't know it cause I had a bunch of other tabs open and had stepped away for a second but some kind of sound would be a nice add.

great idea BB. i'll add one in, configured on/off in your settings.

there's nothing worse than a silent poke, happened to me one day, still haven't fully recovered

OK did anything ever come out of getting a noise or something when you get poked? Ive been getting poked alot here lately and dont know it until I see the little box.....

Where is the little box supposed to come up? I've never seen it (using IE8 most of the time).

I am using IE8. Its a little black box that appears in the right hand corner on the top (if you are looking at your screen). It will say something like "online message, you have been poked by so and so".

Wow, you move with the times Pixie! LOL.

I've never seen a box like that. I wonder if my security settings or something is blocking it. Is it a popup?

EDIT: just used a test account to poke myself (oo er!), and nothing happened.

Its not a pop up like you would get when you get a PM. Its just a black box that has an X in it that you can close.

pixie's right, you should receive a black box in the top RHS.

i'm working on an audio alert too.

have you unchecked your settings to disallow poke's nic?
