New story category and new forum: an immodest proposal

New story category: it occurred to me that a 'Play For Pay' category might attract some readers and writers. Subjects could include: escourts, mistresses, boy toys, exotic dancers, and any other situation where sex and cash are intermingled.

New forum: What we don't have in the admittedly long list of forums, is one featuring issues involving 'Sex In The News'. Two articles in today's news got me thinking this way. An item about Utah enacting anti-porn laws fit into the 'Adult Swin' category. but another, about the discovery of a DNA link to early sexual activity remains homeless.

While neither suggestion will make or break Lush, the might be worth a thought or two...then again, maybe not.

RUMPLATIONS: AwesomeHonky Tonk and Cyber Bar
Home of the Lush "IN" crowd: indecent, intoxicated, and insolvent
a place to gossip, share news, talk sports, pimp a story, piss & moan, or just grab a drink. Check it out.

Writing is not necessarily something to be ashamed of, but do it in private and wash your hands afterwords. -- ROBERT HEINLEIN
I like the idea of "Pay for Play." I have at least one story I've written that would fit that category more than the one its in.
Interesting suggestions, thank you Rumple. I'll give them some thought.

These are both great suggestions. Would a forum on Sex in the News be called The Pink Tank?

A, uh, colorful suggestion, for sure.

I'd like a forum on the scents people find the most erotic and and sensual.

You've hit the nail on the head, anything else would be just silly.

I worry about too many categories becoming just clutter, but 'Pay For Play' is a damn good idea. Rumpy, you're pretty bright when you have an extra drink or two or three.

EXCELLENT idea. And this appears to be your very first post! Welcome to Lush.

That might be a good thread to start in the "Crowd Sourcing" forum, which is in the "Personal/Relationships" category: "Submit Your Slant on Superbly Sexy & Sensual Scents", perhaps?

Maybe a second on alliteration...?

FYI, I love Gardenia and Honeysuckle. And Plumeria, though it's less often encountered.
I like the idea of a 'pay-to-play' category. That could be a very interesting category with which to write a story. I like that idea a lot.
Love it!

I have three famous stories, 2 recommended reads and have come in the top ten in two competitions~ Come in and make yourself at home.

I have no idea if this is the correct forum for this, however, has an "Autobiography" category ever been considered?
I feel the topic could be fascinating as it would certainly be thought provoking for authors to decide what of themselves they would want to divulge. In reality it would also permit a reader to understand more deeply the authors non biographical stories.
I agree that many would be hesitant but I think some of us would do it.
